The 2025 Bologna Children’s Book Fair (BCBF) was held over a period of four days from March 31 to April 4. This is a festival that attracts the literary community from all over the world, and a place where important information on activities is exchanged. At the IBBY Stand at BCBF (Hall 29 B44), we spoke with many people about hosting the Asia-Pacific Regional Conference. Also, we talked about how we were preparing for it at the 2025 IBBY Press Conference, held at the Illustrators Café at 2:30pm CET on Monday, March 31. Many participants expressed empathy and interest in the topic of “coexisting with the Earth,” a goal that we should naturally and urgently strive for in the future.
